SDONE Membership Eligibility

Registered Nurse leaders active in the field of healthcare management (currently licensed in South Dakota with the exception of federal government employees).

Administrator or manager accountable for strategic, operational, and/or performance outcomes in sites where healthcare is delivered.

Faculty (including deans and directors) in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs.

Executive Directors of American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) affiliate groups.

Consutlants in nursing administration/practice.

Persons working in professional associations, regulatory agencies and/or accrediting healthcare organizations.

Retired full members.

Editors of professional nursing journals.

Former member licensed in the profession of nursing, even if current role does not meet elgibility criteria.
